I feel like typing so I thought I'd throw out a list of the anime series I'm currently watching.

Shakugan no Shana (20 episodes so far) - Action, monster fighting type anime with a whole lot of romantic comedy type plot lines.

Kasimasi ~Girl Meets Girl~ (6 episodes so far) - Guy turns into girl, friends freak out. Very complicated and deep kind of plot. Has awesome art.

Fate / Stay Night (8 episodes so far) - random guy finds out he's in some magical war, and has an uber cool swordswoman named Saber protecting him (saber is quite possibly my favorite character design ever, and I even have 5 figures of her sitting on my desk at work )

Kamichu - this series is by the same team who did Read or Die, and man it's crazy awesome. It's about a little girl with Godly powers trying to help people, even tho she's sort of incompetent.

Iriya no Sora UFO no Natsu (1 episode so far, tho I have 5 more) - just started watching this series today. I dont know what it's about yet, but it's awesome lol.

For the first time in maybe 2 or 3 years, I'm actually watching these series 1 episode at a time as they come out every week. I normally wait until a whole bunch of a series is out, then I never watch it because I have too much to watch lol. I'm finally kicking my non-anime watching habit and getting into some crazy awesome series.

Mushishi - about some bugs that mess the human lives...but thats how they are, so we cant blame them XD very good anime...kinda deep and no funny parts at all xD but its my favorite anime for this season so far XD

Jigoku Shoujo - about a page called ...what was it called? well...it was translated as "hotline to hell" XD when you access it, the Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) shows up to take revenge for you XD

Akahori Gedou Hour Love-ge - very nonsense XD funny funny funny...about two girls who wants to keep the peace in town...but end up destroying everything and five sisters who want to become the biggest villans...but end up helping everyone XD

and i didnt know Kamichu is by the ROD team XD omg !! i love ROD XD one of my past nicknames was THE PAPER/Yomiko Readman XD and know my full and forever nickname is yukino Makuhari XD

I'm not watching anything at the moment but yeah, should be getting arround to stuff later

After I made that post I went and finished all of Iriya no Sora UFO no Natsu. I dont know if I like it or hate it to be honest. I want to see more, that's for sure. I do tend to like anime that have a central plot of a guy helping out a girl. I'm a bit sucker for that kind of stuff

I have some screenshots of Kamichu! on my website, but for some reason this messageboard doesnt allow an exclamation point in a URL string, so it wont work. I guess you can try just copy/pasting this if you want. Kamichu! is awesome, but for some reason nobody knows or cares about it, so it's pretty hard to find. It's also kind of trippy because the episodes are in a weird order. For instance there are 4 episodes at random intervals that are not aired on TV, they're only on the dvd releases, so in order to see everything in order, you have to wait for DVD rips or what not. I havent seen any plans for anybody to bring it stateside, tho I wish Geneon would release it domestically.

I was supposed to start watching Fate-Stay Night, if the 1st episode arrived in time =_=

I've watched the first 2 episodes of Mushishi and it was pretty neat. My Japanese teacher saw a few minutes of it and said she'd really want to watch it heh.


BTW li0n I just realized your avatar is of Nobuchika Eri. I was just debating whether I should order her debut album. I learned about her from Lumines, since her song "lights" is the last song in the game, and I love that song big time. I've also liked everything else I've heard from her, so i thought I should pick up an album

It's funny how i found her cause, i was just randomly browsing through some website then i just see this gorgeous looking woman, and i went looking everywhere for her stuff surprised myself i would be into her sort of music

I only have her self-titled album, would like to get more sometime soon

I've seen the first 8 episodes (which is all I can find currently) and I'm really loving it. Episode 8 had me ROFL quite a lot.

Also, Geneon just licensed Kamichu! and Ichigo Mashimaro (i like this series as well, tho i havent been keeping up with it) so they should be out in the US soon enough. I hope they come with pencil boards like ROD TV did.

I was a bit thrown off by the anime promo for Disgaea. I guess the art resembles the manga more than the game, and I personally dont like the manga art too much. Regardless I'm sure the anime will be crazy awesome and I cant wait for more Etna and Flonne antics

I just finished Shakugan no Shana last night (episode 24 was the last) and it was an incredibly awesome series. I also got caught up on Fate / Stay Night (getting REALLY good) and watched episode 3 of Shinigami no Ballad.

I enjoy answering questions about anime

Shakugan no Shana has not been licensed in the US. You can get it from various fansub groups, tho I got them all from Eclipse, which put them out the fastest.

Any recommendations for other shows on the style of Azumanga, Kamichu, ROD, Yotsubato or Genshiken? Kamichu is wonderful, too bad not all that much of it is subbed.
